Hİ. Today I'm going to tell you about Thomas Quafthoff''s life but b efore I start to tell you about Thomas I want to talk about "Thalidomide Tragedy" shortly. Thalidomide was a medicine used by pregnant women. After lots of years researchers found out this medicine is seriously harmful for babies. its prevents the babies developments. Lots of babies was born without arms or legs. Some of them was blind or deaf. The drug banned after years but it was already too late for lots of person who take damages from that.(by the way this drug never been used in Turkey thanks to our precious Ord.Prof.Dr. Süreyya Tahsin Aygün) Thomas Quafthoff is one of the babies who was born without arms.
